Alvar Allto Savoy Vase for Iittala - early seventies edition
5cm high / 19cm x 15cm diameter 428grams
Classic Savoy design in white cased crysral. By Alvar Aalto originally produced in 1933, & to my knowledge had 3 editions until the recent recommissioning - a fifties edition, & later early 70's. This 70's edition is acid stamped to base & comes in original box, which is a little battered.
Condition: Overall 9. Marks knocked off for battered box. The fact that it is boxed speaks for the condition of the bowl, with Iitala sicker still in tact.
